Prader-Willi and Angelman syndromes

Initial guidelines for the laboratory analysis of PWS and AS were prepared by John Harvey for the CMGS in August 1998. These guidelines were subsequently updated in April 2002 with contributions from M-A Voelckel, P Malzac, A Moncla and G Matthijs after an EMQN Best practice Meeting held on the 6th December 2001. In 2010, new guidelines were created and published to BMC Medical Genetics by SC Ramsden, J Clayton-Smith, R Birch and K Buiting. These guidelines were updated by J Beygo and D Kanber and subsequently published in the European Journal of Human Genetics in 2019.
